Do you keep separate bank accounts for bulk and honor boxes or do you combine the money in one account? Just wondering how you keep up with it? I keep pretty detailed records of each machine, full-line and bulk, and all cash is deposited into one account. Another idea I had this week, which I have not yet implemented on my own route yet, is to make a separate deposit at the bank, and in your accounting software, you can flag all deposits from bulk machines with a different category or tag so you could run separate reports. It makes it just easier for accounting purposes. I also keep detailed records between my gumball machines and my honor boxes.
