Hillbilly Posted November 28, 2013 Share Posted November 28, 2013 Guys, I am researching the possibility of buying a key cutting machine and a power inverter to use with my truck. I've researched many machines and have a couple suppliers lined up for some key blanks already. In fact, I have some blanks already on hand. Just thinking about doing it mainly at flea markets as a sideline when I set up 5 or 6 times a year. I could also carry the equipment in my truck and make them on my route. I know it is not a big money venture but just want any insight on the ins and outs and anything i should watch out for. Any experienced key cutters that could recommend a machine? I plan on starting out with the flat vending keys, MasterLock, and of course Kwikset and Schlage. Will move into automotive flat w/out transponder and equipment keys next, and then transponder and round keys last. Thanks for any help you can give.
