BluePlate
OK, OK I'm from Massachusetts, but "what in the heck is a corn nut?"
kai1836
Its a kernel of corn that has been roasted. They can either be salty or flavored. Kraft is a big supplier of them but I was thinking they might do well in bars.

kai1836
I do know of a place that sells them in bulk. The question is how much is bulk. If the consensus is to try them here then I am going to see what kind of a deal I can get. There is an amish food distributor near my home. They butcher their own meat and have a very large grocery operation. Some of the food is sourced elsewhere but a lot of it is produced right there. They make their own corn nuts. They make them right on site and they are every bit as good as kraft if not better because they use fresher corn and pay more attention so as to not package the burnt black pieces with the good stuff after the cooking proccess. If any of you would like to if the quantity is too large I would be happy to split an order up. I'm assuming the price would be way under what you might get from Kraft but I haven't gone and checked yet. Its on my to do list. Let me know if any of you are interested. A lot of people like corn nuts in my area so it might do well here.
kai1836
Couldn't think straight there but for those of you into full line kraft makes these in a 1.7 oz package great for vending.
