nippy31
I was wondeiring If any of you had any ideas on where we can get candy lables for our machines. Also what is a fair price to pay for a label? Thanks Nin
philo
Nin: Go to vendinglabels.com for the cheapest prices. For free you can contact the various candy manufacturers and request vending labels. Regards, Philo
caserri
Nippy, I always make my own. I only run 3 different types of candy though. You can go to WalMart and pick up a package of 8X11 self laminating sheets. Cut out the candy logo and sandwich them in between the sheets. I do this for PMM and Runts. I will post a pic later. The gumballs usually come with vend cards as well. Member David does this as well. nippy31
Wow thanks for all the help. The problem we have is that our machines we bought have old labels on them. I tried using goo gone but it messes with the plexiglass finish. Nin
westlakevending
I always use the bags........take peanut mm for example on the backside of the bag i cut off where it says peanut MM. I cut it straight and it turns out looking good. Dont pay for labels...... Shawn
caserri
Here is a pic of one of my machines with a "home made" label. I just cut the entire front graphic off the bag, laminate it, then apply it to the inside of the globe. This obviously will not work for triples as it would not fit in the window. But it looks great on a globe! Steve

Kyle Yeah they have since gone out of business due to legal difficulties in 2002. The United States Government brought action against them in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. AmuseStar Vending Co
Well thats sad..because I want one!! These look a lot like my LYPC's with cash drawers. O well, the only reason I like LYPC is because of the cash drawers. I use them in high traffic. Kyle
nippy31
Those are nice machine lables!!!! How do you get them to stick on the inside?
caserri
I just put a spot of non-permanent double-sided tape on it. You don't have to go crazy with the tape as the candy itself will help to hold it in place. Steve
davidsurvz
I make my own too. I always have. Yours look great Steve! I sent a pic to Seve of some of my experimental labels. It's posted in the "servicing tips and practicalities" thread. David
AmuseStar Vending Co
I dont use tape. The candy does that job. Notice gow mine touch the bottom of the globe. Kyle
ANDERSONVENDING
NIN, Use WD40 on the stickers,it works great. My wife learned that working at a motel. Spray liberally on sticker and rub in until it loosens up,wash with dish liquid after all residue is removed. John

These are static cling labels? It says laminated, so I assumed they meant something thicker, like what Steve is doing... ;-)
baxsonvending
No they have static cling labels that are 60 cents a pop. Worth it and I can resuse them over and over again .
