software for full line that counts inventory in machine?

Have you guys heard of a software that can do this for full line snack and soda machines? I once knew a guy that had something like this setup for his machines but i lost his contact info. I know that having software like this would save one trip per location while i stock up on inventory from Sam's club.

There are systems available that you can poll the equipment from your office such as "Cantaloupe" system. Then there are systems that use handheld units (Streamware for one) that download the information once you get to your machine. Both of these styles of monitoring require that your equipment is fully DEX capable as this is the communication protocol that these type of systmes use. They are expensive to get fully implemented and if I remember correctly are recommended for 5 routes and up.

Bill what about software that sends inventory supply info straight to your pc, therefore saving you a an extra trip?

This technology has been around since the early 90's. The cost associated with it back then made it very hard to accept. The most predominant one in today's market is the Cantaloupe System.
