What I was wondering is why do people buy mints? Does it freshen their breath? Get rid of sour throat? Makes them feel clean? I really appreciate your feedback! Thank you

I buy mints because they taste good.

My fiancé buys them to fix her breath after eating a meal.

I think it is all of the above!

i buy mints to resell them for a profit .  i think in a bar, people will buy to cover the smell of alcohol. in a seafood place, maybe to get that fishy taste out of their mouth.  but mostly, i think people buy just because they are good
