This will be my first machine placement and I plan to get my Plush at approximately a dollar each. Two questions, what would be a good percentage to offer to the owner of profit for letting me place the machine there? And what should I see payout wise? brendio Posted January 24, 2017 Share Posted January 24, 2017 I have mine on 20% commission and run my cost of goods at a maximum of 30% (so a $1 item needs about $3 through the machine per payout). I know of franchise operators working on 25 up to 35% commission and lower payouts. I pitch that a lower commission allows me to run a higher payout ratio, which gets more repeat customers (and onlookers wanting to also try their luck).
