With the announcement of Steve's accident and abscence from the board made me think of this wiki how-to that I've seen on how to inform your online friends of your obituary.  Happily isn't the case this time, but when things like this happen, it does make you think. 

What if something happened to one of your online friends and they just ended up dropping off the face of the internet.  You'd want to know what happened, right?  So if something happened to you, you'd want to make sure all your online friends knew what happened to your, right?  Well here is that link to the wiki-howto that I mentioned.  It's about how to share your obituary with your online friends.  Maybe it can be modified so that you can make arrangements to notifiy your online friends in case you have an unplanned lengthy abscence for whatever reason.
