vendnewbie123
Hello, I just recently acquired a vending machine and I have no prior experience or knowledge of vending machine. I am hoping I can get some help on a problem I am having with the t-handle to my machine, I have been calling around trying to get some help and it seems like no one really know. Unfortunately, I cannot find the model number of the machine anywhere, but I do know it is an automatic products. When I got the vending machine the previous owner lost the keys and they tried to drill out the key hole to open the machine. So, I decided to purchase a new one to replace it. It seemed like the t-handle was an exact match, the only issue is the original one opens counterclockwise and the new one opens clockwise. The clockwise opening directions does not work for my machine. I am here in hopes that anyone can help me an anyway. I have done tons of research and I cannot seem to find anything. Is this something I can fix on my own by maybe reconstructing the new t-handle? Or do I need to purchase a different one, if so do you have any websites or links that could help me find this t-handle that opens counterclockwise? Anything will help. Thank you
Popular Post lacanteen
All A/P machines have for the most part, the same handle. To reverse the direction, remove the nut from the actuator that moves the lock bar, then remove the actuator. You might have to remove the handle from the machine to accomplish this. Lock the t-handle to prevent it from coming apart. Behind the nut and actuator is an E-Clip (see pic below), and remove it with a screw driver. Behind the E-Clip is the stop cam. It is about the diameter of a nickel and has a portion notched out of it. Carefully remove this cam, and rotate it 90 degrees clockwise and reinstall. Make sure it's flat against the body of the handle, then reassemble.
