Mars TRC-6800-H and a BAB30B bill acceptor

I have put a Bab30 Bil acceptor with a mars TRC-6800-H. they both work, the drink machine is set for $1.50 however when i put $2. in the bill acceptor it takes it does not give change or a drink. I have the bill acceptor plugged in also coin changer. The coin changer gives drinks. woul like to know what i am doing wrong. thanks

If the bill acceptor isn’t crediting any bills, you should check to see if the 6 pin harness is plugged into the coin mech. If it is, you’ll need to have the mech and dbv tested individually.
