Drink Machine - Type? Used or New?

Hi Fellow Venders,

Have a customer that would like a Coke machine. What is the best bang for the buck? If I buy used what should I be looking out for not to get and how do I inspect the macine?

I like DN, Royal or Vendo for equipment brands.

To check it out test vend all columns and insert cash and coin in DBV and mech to test acceptance, test coin dispense function in mech and finally cooling, is it cold? Adjust the thermostat until the compressor kicks off give it a minute and adjust thermostat back until compressor kicks on and listen for strange noises. Check wire harness for wear or slices especially the section that gets moved around all the time when the door is opened and closed.

If all checks out you ought to be allright.

....just to add, I would also recommend a multi-price machine vs a single price unit.  It may cost a little bit more, but it REALLY gives you a lot more flexibilty on the type of products that you can sell.
