Where do they buy their compressors? I have trouble even getting a compressor for that. Labor wise, I suspect the Dixies are easier to install. mission vending Posted November 19, 2010 Share Posted November 19, 2010 Most compressors are fairly simple to change out you just have to be careful about not putting a kink in the copper lines. You can find used rebuilt compressors for around 200-250, if you are looking at a new one 500-600. I'm guessing that was the prince range you were quoted.
