The vendiscuss timer must be messed up because when I try to edit the post for spelling it keeps telling me that I have to wait 1 HOUR from when I first posted.

You can only edit your posts for 1 hour after you originally post it. Then it closes and its there forever.

From the help page:

How to Edit a Post

Find the post you want to edit, and click the Edit button. Unless you are a moderator or administrator, you can only edit your own posts. Please note that to ensure member accountability, VENDiscuss does not allow the editing of posts after 1 hour has passed from the time of the original post.
