Health and sanitary issues?

I too, only want the cleanest of conditions. I have seen some real ugly vending machines. They are the ones that give vending a bad name. I don't think there are any health department requirements. Just keep everything as clean as possible. It is your business and Remember, if someone gets sick, they are going to come looking for you.

Hi pocketchange!

In Oklahoma there are no reg's. in regard to handling bulk

candy, nuts, or gum, etc...

I checked with the state and they were rather cavalier with

their answers of... "anybody can start their own bulk

vending machine business, and no, there are no special

regulations, or health department rules".

I was kinda surprised. I figured at least they'd require a

sixty minute class on handling "food stuffs" that the public

will be buying and eating. But nope!

I handle my machines like I would want, anything I'm going

to eat out of, to be handled. With an eye toward cleanliness

at all times.

I handle any candy etc... with latex gloves on,  when filling

or servicing the machines.

Them's the only facts I can relate. :)
