carogan Posted October 22, 2011 Share Posted October 22, 2011 Does anyone here think it would be useful to start a thread where everyone can share their revenue figures per product by location and traffic in a specific format? ie...(NOTE: MY NUMBERS ARE FICTIONAL SO DO NOT RELY ON THEM - I HAVE NOT STARTED A BUSINESS YET, BUT WHEN I DO I WILL SHARE MY FIGURES!) LOCATION #52: Manufacturing warehouse - Calgary, Alberta Worker type 1: Office - male/female 50%/50%: 20 people Worker type 2: Labour - male/female 90%/10% 50 people Number of machines: 1 Machine type: 2 selection beverage Total revenue/week: $501 Product line: Coke can 355ml (original): Volume: 200 units/week Revenue: $300/week Dasani bottle 355ml: Volume: 134 units/week Revenue: $201/week This might take a little work, but this would give everyone, both new operators and established alike, a valuable resource with which to determine estimates as well as product mix. What do you think? I don't mind sharing what products sell well or what type of locations they are in. But I would advice not to post sales numbers for each location.
