Empty 2 u-turn heads in 3 weeks

So I've bought a location that apparently empties 2 u-turn heads in 3-4 weeks, and I have not gotten the keys sent to me by the seller quiet yet, but do have the machines in my possession, if anyone's worked with uturns before, I was wondering if you vend 6 pcs per vend of PMM, how many Vends can one head hold? Obviously an approximation is what I'm looking for. The location is a 20 minute drive and I need to see if it's worth the time :P

Uturns have a hard time vending 6 pieces. They have a hard time vending 7, which is what mine is set for. At 7 filling the canister to the top is only about 33-35.00 gross. To fill one it's about 5-5 1/2 pounds of P m&m's.

There is a file in the down loads section that has what settings to set them at for the amount of product to come out. Don't necessarily set them at the suggested settings on the paper, but it breaks it down and about how much you will make.

But Orsd  is right, it's better to use an Oak Panel head with a xtra capacity back. I have Uturns and now switching to Oaks.

I want to vend 5 pmm per quarter. Why is it hard for a uturn to vend 6-7pcs?

I believe it's because the head is to small or because of the design of the candy tumbler. if you want to vend that many, set it on #3. 4 vends 7 sometimes, but after a few turns the candy doesn't settle and they don't get  a good vend if any. Anything under a 3 won't vend any. Uturns are really limited. Also, if the tumbler doesn't have an "A" and a "B" setting, then they won't turn down far enough to make a good profit on smaller candies like Reeses  and so on.

Well I just tested the previous owners uturn vend, vended around 8.. Wow he did not make much profit.. I hope the workers will continue to buy my candy when I vend 5pcs.. I really hope I don't lose the volume

The best way to do that is to turn it down one notch a month or every 2 months. Or yes you will lose the volume. You probably will any ways if there is another snack machine there. It's probably set on setting 7 right now.
