I saw today in the vegas craigslist someone selling a honor box sucker deal. 250 boxes with suckers and 250 account to place them at, for get this. 6800.00

are they crazy?

now this is a real sucker deal.

I could buy like 12000 gourmet lollipops in 24 flavors

for around 2 grand. and 250 boxes for less then 1000

probully.

and these would be the big 1 oz gourmet pops too

so that's around 3 grand.

is 250 accounts worth around 3800?

I'm not familiar with sucker honor boxes so I don't know how much money can be made.  They just don't seem to make a lot of money.  Regardless, I can tell you about honor boxes (from my limited experience).

An honor box costs what... $5/box shipped?

30 piece in an honor box costs maybe $12?

Combined, an honor box full of snacks costs around $17.  I have *heard* that the average honor box sells for around $25 EMPTY if it is on location and part of a route.. so 100 honor boxes should cost about $2500.  The average honor box (if in a steady location) seems to net around $10/month... so it should profit well over $100 in a year.  Paying $25 for a location is worth a $100 profit over the course of a year.

Suckers might yield a much higher profit (I have no idea) so, as long as shortages aren't a problem, even if the box yields $3/week in revenue, it might make $2/week in profit (wild guess, I really have no idea).  If it did make $2/week in profit, it would equal about $100/year in profit which is pretty decent considering how little work it takes (fill a box, exchange the current box with a new box and go).

I am giving total guesses for revenue and profits on this.... with the assumption being that suckers/lollipops have a high profit margin.  My point, however, is that paying $27/box *could* be worth it if those 250 boxes were already placed and making money.  However, if you have to BUY the boxes and place them yourself (more than likely the case) then it isn't worth paying a higher price for this venture for no reason.

Suckers seem like one of those things where... you probably won't live off of selling them alone unless you service every lollipop honor box within a 50 mile radius of a metropolitan area.  It seems like something you do along with something else.

Bulk candy has been proven to be a real thing... I am sure that people have lived off of them.. as well as snack honor boxes and many other ventures.  I just wouldn't bother paying $6800 for 250 boxes and suckers if I could get the same thing for almost half the price.  I also wouldn't buy 250 sucker boxes.  I would TRY to get something closer to 50 (or whatever the lowest quantity was).  I already have probably 100+ snack honor boxes sitting around with no home.  If I grow my full-line route big enough to hire an employee, I might grow the honor box business to keep me busy while I do everything else for the full-line other than fill machines... but I certainly wouldn't look forward to trying to place 250 boxes.

I have seen those ads around here too it says if you work part time you can make 800+ a month or you could go full time and make 1500+ and only work X number of days. And you know if you give them money they are just going to order everything for you and ship it to you. When If you really wanted to do it you could come here read about honor boxes than once ready buy some yourself.
