Captain Mak Daddy
Hello All! Let me start by introducing myself as I am new to the site and bulk vending. My name is Jay and my wife and I own and operate Captain Daddy Dogs, LLC. We are a mobile vending company that opened earlier this year. We started with Hot Dog Carts (Custom Built In-House) and recently expanded into vending machines as a means for supplemental income in the winter. I'd like to start off by thanking all of you here on this site. Your stories, advice, and words of wisdom are so so helpful to a guy like me just starting out. The resources on this site are invaulable to a newbie!!! Moving forward I do have a couple of questions I was wondering if I could get answered. I've tried scouring through the posts but theres 100+ pages of posts! So after getting awesome deals on 5 snack/drink vending machines and already having one of them placed and one of them sold off I've been considering the bulk vending idea. The whole idea in general really excites me. I'm a very mechanical guy as is so owning mechanical machines that are essantially money machines lights me up inside! I've been doing some research (mostly on this site lol) and I think I've found a good deal on some used machines. I wanted to get your guy's input and hopefully answer a few questions I have. I'm looking at purchasing 6 Northwestern 60 heads. Currently they are set up as three doubles. Two of them are set up for candy and the seller says 4 set up for gumball. Now I think one must be set up for High Bounce Balls due to the sticker in the picture. The questions I have are below: 1) Are gumballs and high bounce balls interchangable in this machine? 2) Where is a good place to buy these "high bounce balls"? (everything I find online would not turn out a good margin at all!) 3) Are parts to switch what the machine vends easily accessible for this model? Last question is I've read through a lot of posts and ideally I would like to vend Skittles and either Peanut M&M's or Reese's Pieces for each double what are your thoughts? Oh P.S. the price for the machines in case anyone was wondering is $235 for all the machines, comes with 4 keys. Each machine is keyed the same so any of the keys work in any of the machines. Thank You in advance!!!
Action Vending
Try using the search feature at the top. Northwesterns are great machines, bounce balls and gumballs can both be vended without changing parts.

Thank You in advance!!! Northwestern Double.jpeg Those are probably one of the most durable machines on the market. For the balls, I use tntvend.com. I would call them and talk to Vicki our Rachel. They will take great care of you. Even if you are on the east coast they will be the best because of shipping, they'll use flat rate for you. That's a good deal, quality equipment, your off to a great start!

Makes Cents
On your last question I would go with skittles because low COGS and durable Forget m&m peanut because COGS is high and they are not durable Reese can be ok if location is climate controlled. COGS is ok Buying bouncy balls, they are heavy and shipping is usually higher so consider a supplier close to you.
