jeffw4444 Posted January 11, 2016 Share Posted January 11, 2016 Quick question, I just bought 48 brand new Vendstar 3000's for $30 a piece and I was wondering if anyone knows what type of trays come out of the box? Can I do a combination of candy and gumballs, or do I need to buy gumball inserts? The seller doesn't know much because he is selling it on consignment and I'm picking them up on Sunday. Hopefully Rodney can find me some sites to put these all in!! PS I know that Venstars suck, but I got 48 machines for the price I was going to pay for six NW's. It was a no brainier for me. I've had vendstars myself. They're not bad for lower volume accounts or factory break rooms, which is where I had them. They still collect quarters. I was just wondering because I have one silver .50 mech and it doesn't seat all the way down in the 1800 slot because there is a metal ledge on the bottom that is not cut away like the oem is. So, I would not want to but a bunch that don't seat properly. I wish there was a way to see the back side of the two mechs side by side to compare. This photo is of a mech that does NOT fit all the way in due to the metal edge that goes across the bottom.
