iawolfeman Posted December 27, 2016 Share Posted December 27, 2016 Stumbled upon this forum while looking for info on replacing an old MAKA in a can machine in my apartment building. Capitol told me I am stuck with the MAKA, so I replaced belts. Still have the same issue - Cycles when powered up and will start to accept bill and stops 1/2 to 2/3 of the way into validator. Bought a used MAKA on ebay and it does the same thing. Machine is a SelectVend Mini 8 model 3040 / MAKA NB2-16-400 27 volt / cionco 9302L Any advise would be GREATLY appreciated. AZVendor Posted January 11, 2017 Share Posted January 11, 2017 It's because you never actually rebuilt your validator and then you bought one sight unseen on Fleabay. You get what you pay for. You can email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom if you need a rebuilt exchange unit. What I would recommend though is that you dump the Maka junk and put a real bill acceptor in it.
