Davis Caroline
I know this doesn't make sense based on other things I have read on these boards, but I feel like gum goes bad before candy. I am currently tracking the date of all product placed into machines and also tracking all waste. I should have a better grasp of this in the next 5-6 months. That said, from what I have encountered my gum gets very hard before I feel like my skittles or M&M's go bad. Seeing that long time vendors with racks - only use gum and not candy such as Skittles, I am assuming I must be incorrect. Anybody have any comments from your own experience / data collection? You may have to consider how old the product is when you buy it.

Double Bubble is hard when fresh. I had to change to Oak Leaf. Only put what needed between service cycles
havending
I fill gum except for spirals. Full globes look better. Spirals I fill about half. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk

Bravo Duck
Don't sell Double Bubble, sell Oak Leaf or Fords Carousel brand, both are much softer. By the way Barb over at Ford sells both brands and sells Northwestern machines also. Barb 847 955 0003 x16 Not related, just a satisfied customer. I guess that was my problem.
Jax Snacks
If you use DB, always check the date code and never store them in cold weather.
bacho
Dubble Bubble is nasty. It's hard and looses it's flavor real quick. The tab gum is as hard as a rock. I have to agree with tstrong. Bubble King from Oak Leaf is a much better gum overall.
