Gator
Hello- I am losing all programming when the power goes out on the RVV500. I have found that there is a battery on the control panel (836185) that will keep everything programmed when we lose power. Is there any way that the battery can be replaced without purchasing a new control panel for $175? I don't want to lose my programming, but I am looking for an inexpensive fix if possible. Please let me know my options if you have an idea. Thank you in advance. Gator
AZVendor
Welcome to the forums, Gator! There is a wealth of vending information here with a very active user base. If there is no metal, round, flat battery on this board then Royal probably used a battery chip soldered onto the board. It may not be noticeable as some of those batteries look like a solid-state device on the board. If there's no removable battery then you will need to exchange the board for a rebuilt unit. You can PM me if you need a source for a board.
