GrabNGo
Hello all! I am looking to locate a claw machine and I was wondering if one would work pretty well at a place that sells, milk teas, and things with boba. For example, I think they originated in japan, china, and singapore. Thanks! Any advice is appreciated

hanihotdog
you can always try... BUT, the typical claw machine players are not upper to upper middle class people (probably the type of people shopping there). here is a very general statement that I heard, but it applies to understanding our customers... high income people purchase things that will make more income (investment properties/stocks/businesses etc.) Middle/upper middle class people purchase debt (houses, cars, tuition Etc.) Lower income people buy things... (minion slippers, giant front yard inflatables, $50 indoor/outdoor tiki hut.. etc.) Basically crap that they don't really need, but really want. the crap we sell falls into that category. If you put a claw machine in a place loaded with low income people, they will love it!! you will bring them great joy. Therefore, your highest percentage of successful machines will be in places where these people work, or spend time. obviously there are exceptions to this rule... There is a slight chance that hipsters think claw machines are hip in a kisch way. I could definitely see a couple dudes with really tight jeans, heavy beards, and hipster glasses sipping tea while playing claw machines between poetry hour and yoga class. Toad
Yes , they are, its a proven fact. I saw a video on youtube that said places that sold tea were good crane locations, so its got to be true

Gs Vending
If you can get a location, you try out that location. Know your demographics. Typically boba places attract the more asian crowds, so you can play on that. All the boba places I've been to are too small, but give it a shot. Put in things that would appeal (Hello Kitty/Domo/Minions/Minions/Did I say minions?/"Kawaii" Stuff). Don't put in Duck Dynasty stuff for example because of obvious reasons. Oh and Toad, why don't you be a little nicer to this kid because he is literally a kid. I know who you are Grab N Go...
Toad
Great idea, play up the demographics, put in the machine chopsticks, ciggerettes, tea leaves, blue jeans and small sized shoes. I know this will work, because i saw it in a video on youtube
