laip51
I realize that all machines require a unique means of providing MDB capability. When buying used machines, one can look up specs on ads for most later models. For older ones, it generally requires asking the experienced guys here about conversions. In general, Is there any specific thing to look for that provides this information. It would save forum inquiry in many cases. So far I have been unable detect a common means except for an obvious added device hanging in an unusual place. Maybe there is a common place on the program board that has an added cable?? I generally only buy AP and Crane National, so it could be narrowed down to these older models. Thanks for any tips.
SCOTT1963
On AP's the 103, 110 series, and 6/7000 are not mdb..LCM came either MDB or not On Nationals the 145,146,147,148 are not MDB. The 157-158 can go either way. Anything older than the 103 or 145 by either Manufacturer are not MDB. Anything new or newer than the 123 or 157 are MDB. Hope this helps, this is only snacks by the way.
rmorris1953
If its more than 15 years old it most likely is not MDB unless it has a conversion kit. Good example 501 E's when first introduced along with Vendo 511 were not MDB. In a lot of cases it may just need the harness changed.
