Ktowner
I have a VM-010 $1.00/$5.00 bill changer in my break room at work. The coin sensor has failed and I was wanting to eliminate it from the changer. Can I wire the 3 sensor leads in such a way as to simulate a full tube and not use the sensor? I check and fill the tubes weekly so I not worried about the changer running out of coins.
AZVendor
You can probably fake the sensor being there very easily. If there are three wires to the switch then short the NC and C wires together so that the machine sees that the switch is "closed" all the time. Tape off the NO wire or just leave it on the switch. Or you could junk this old mechanical machine stuff and get real vending machines. Just to be blunt. I'll tell you though, if shorting the wires doesn't work then your circuit board in the changer is bad and doesn't see the switch correctly anyway.
