roli112
How can I convert a column currently vending 20oz Water Bottles two deep to vend 16oz Arrowhead hard water bottles? How many deep can I go?
AZVendor
You can do the 16 oz bottles 2 deep but you'll need a can shim for it. If you don't have one you can email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom.
roli112
do i also need a column shim (if thats what its called) or rod shim or placement change?
AZVendor
I think the 480 has 10 narrow columns so you just need the can shim for the lower right side of the column along with a cotter clip to hold it in place. No rods are used on Vendos so you don't need that.

AZVendor
It usually uses 2 white clips for the 16 oz bottles.
roli112
Ok thank you AZVendor, I want to get these from you as well as I Bill validator harness you mentioned you had on another post regarding a Dixie Narco 501T that i had issues with a CONLUX coin mech I am replacing with a bill validator. Also, on my Dixie Narco 501T I currently am Vending the 16 on hard water bottles, but I was told when I purchased it I can only go 1 deep, is there any reason for this? Its on a narrow column. AZVendor
Whoever sold you the 501T doesn't know jack about the machine. You can easily do 16.0 oz bottles in that machine in a wide or narrow column. In the narrow column, use a can shim (3/4") lip and set your motor cam to have only two notches in it. If you have a narrow rotor that has a gap of 1/4" between the left side of the rotor and the left wall then no rod/spring is needed. If you have a wide rotor that fills the column wall to wall then you need a rod/spring in the middle hole of the rotor, front and back.
