help with 501cc dispensing multiple cans and water selection triggers cam multiple times when buttton depressed.

501cc  skips a dispense sporadically and then dispenses multiple cans to another at some given time. Trouble shooting and clearing a narrow row jam yields triggering of the cam switch multiple times when the item button is depressed. Can anyone assist please. Non for profit and lost.

You may have a bad motor brake, bad motor, or bent rotor if this is in a narrow column.  Give more detailed info of what is actually occurring and in which column.

Narrow column dispensing 16.9 oz bottled water is the culprit.  if dollar is inserted (set cost of water)  repeated push of the water selection row, triggers the motor until a full cycle or two of the cam yields a bottled water.  New at this. What does the motor brake look like?

You probably have the timing cam on the motor set wrong to begin with.  Whether you have grey or brown timing cams on the front of the motor they must be adjusted to show a number of open notches equal to the number of products deep the column is filled with.  If you run 2 bottles deep then you need two notches showing on the timing cam.  One deep equals only one open notch on the edge of the cam.  You will need a can shim in the column and if this is all set correctly then maybe a rod/spring assembly should be inserted into the rotor for proper spacing.

Again, more details must be provided.  What brand of water are you using?  16.0 oz waters from the regional Nestle brands work the best - don't use any Nestle branded water, just their regional brands and no store brand water!
