davendor
Looking for ideas on fixing a Wittern Geneva 3205 coffee machine - fresh brew - when the pump activates to pump water from the brewer to mixing bowl F and dispenser arm, water/coffee gushes out the top of said mixing bowl. Wittern tech support said should be the pressure switch, so we changed that, to no avail. Anybody have this issue before? Have a spare driver board and main board, will try those next, but wanted to throw it out there to you guys for any other ideas first?
AZVendor
The air pump is controlled by the driver board which acts as a switch controlled by the logic board. All the two of them can do is turn the air pump on (driver board) for the length of time called for by the logic board programming. If the driver relay sticks you'll get water for too long a time as you will if the program is borked in the logic board. If you simply get too much pressure then that is either the pump, the pressure switch (should be a regulator or it may switch the pump off if the pressure is too high) or the flow of water out of the brewer is too fast due to too little grounds, pump starting too soon or running too late when no grounds are present.
