Brad D
I've got a Bevmax 3806. When someone buys a product, the port door stays open for 5 or ten seconds then shuts product in if customer doesn't get it right away. If they don't force door open, which is a cam snapper in itself, they walk away. . It's allowing a second purchase by the next unsuspecting customer with a product in the port door. I've cleaned the eye at the top of the port, and changed out the port sensor. It "should" beep periodically and give a message to remove product if left in it after ten seconds or so, but it's not doing that. The sensors are turned on in machine config as well. lacanteen
Is this a Media 3800-6? If so, you need a firmware update for the I/O board. It took Crane several tries to get the port door to function correctly on the Media Bev.
Brad D
Thanks for the tip. It's a media #3806. Probably 5-years old now. A tech was just out on some other issue and updated the IO board firmware as well a patch for the port hook.
