Mark Bfoods
Hey all, I'm new here and excited to join the site! I am a route driver for a fairly big vending company in CT. I am in the process of becoming a service technician. Brings me to this topic, today I was at a DN 5800 filling it and there was a picker failure error. I brought my tools in with me to try and fix. The cup plunger would not cycle but it was making the noise like it wanted to. I took it apart and the only thing noticably wrong with it was that the cam on the Inside seemed loose and warn out. Everything else worked fine. Has anyone had any experience with having the plunger issues? And if so, any suggestions for when I get back to machine? It is a very busy machine located in the main hallway of a hospital and gets a lot of foot traffic. I really want to fix it and our tech is on vacation this week. Any feedback is appreciated! lacanteen
You need to post this in the Beverage and Food forum. That picker cup needs rebuilt and lubrication.
