Jordan
I'm new to vending and just purchased a fsi 3120 to use as a cigarette machine at my bar. It has a coinco ba32f validator. My question is how can I get it to accept $5's and possibly $10s? I've tried the option switches on the validator for those bills but that didn't work. Do I need to upgrade the validator? Upgrade the controller? Both? Thanks for the help
AZVendor
It's unlikely that your BA32F is upgraded to new currency. Get yourself an updated Mars VN2500 or VN2700 and the harnesses that go with it. You also need all candy shelves with 15 count spirals to vend cigarettes. That is a pretty crappy machine so expect shelf wiring problems and shelves that might fall out of the machine - it was poorly built. If only one person services it they have to be very careful with the shelves. The wires on shelves above may fall down to get entangled in the motors below them. And make sure that local laws don't require a child lockout to be installed on the machine.
