venderone
I have been vending for about 6 months and have been blessed to have NEVER had to vend while it was raining. What do you do when it rains to protect the products you are carrying into your locations? Thanks!
JPVendCo.
go tomorrow. no seriously, I started this morning, thinking it was going to drizzle all day, and it got to be pretty heavy, so I just canceled the rest of the day.

mission vending
Unfortunately I don't have that luxury, I've got to get my stops in rain or shine or it is hell getting caught up. With all the packaging being plastic or cellophane except for M&M's there is no real need for protection. I do try to keep the snack stuff dry in a plastic tote but I don't worry about the cans or bottles.
venderone
Thanks!! What kind of plastic tote do you use?
mission vending
Thanks!! What kind of plastic tote do you use? One of my customers is a distribution company and they have some real heavy duty ones that they were nice enough to give me a couple of. They have a hinged lid that is strong enough to put a couple of cases of bottles on without it folding in.

coinvestor
I just got done vending in the rain all day! The truck floor stays wet from getting in and out, the can drinks sweat and softens all the cardboard. But what the heck, it sure beats pushing a handtruck in the snow. NinnJinn
I open my cases of cans and put them in the 20oz bottle crates upside down, set up the placement of drinks based on location so i'm not standing in the ran shufflling product around. Throw the rain coat on and cuss the rain all day. It started raining around noon today and still hasn't stopped.
