qualityvs
I got stumped today working on a Coinco BA30B in a drink machine. I had 3 different BA30Bs and they would all flash 5 times which means there is a bill jam, but there isnt. One of these when powered up would flash 10 times then 12 times then 5 times. So my question is: Is there anything I can do to them other than send them in for service? I know the higher number of flashes indicates it needs to be reset or serviced. How do you go about reseting a BA30B? I did get the drink machine working. I had a fourth BA30B that was fresh from the shop. Thanks, JC
mission vending
You can try cleaning the optical readers. If that doesn`t work its time to call UPS.
qualityvs
Thanks Mission, but I was meaning anything other than the normal cleaning one would do to a DBV that was acting up. I have been sending them in for service for years with this sympton. Didnt know if I might be missing out on something.
Poplady1
This may be more technical information then you really want to know but I always referenced this booklet before sending out a validator. Sometimes I could fix it and other times I couldn't. Check it for yourself. I recommend printing it out for your repair manual. http://www.americanchanger.com/pdfs/AC7000-5%20MAG.pdf Poplady
