Any experience with JOFEMAR Combo Plus Machine?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone experienced or heard feedback about JOFEMAR Combo Plus snack vending machine? I know that this manufacturer is based in Spain, has two US distributors and a diversified line of vending business activities in the US and worldwide.

Thank you!

They are like Unicorns, you never see them in the field. I been at this 10 plus years and NEVER seen one in the wild. I have NEVER seen one offered used for sale on Craiglist or Ebay.

I cant think of one parts dist that handles the parts, etc. Are they good machines? Could be great machines but I pefer to stick with the machines that are easy to get parts for, get worked on, etc. Ferrari makes a great car but you cant go down to the locakl NAPA and buy parts for it. I prefer to stick with what I knwo is proven for many, many years.

Crane National, AMS, AP, USI, are hard to beat.

I wont even get into the whole "combo" machine conversation.......

BTW: I do NOT sell any machines, equipment, parts etc for any company listed. I DO NOT sell any machines or parts at all.

Hey Guys, Just my Two cents one the Jofemar Combo machine.... To Start; i have been a certified Technician for them for several years and i am very familiar with all their machines..... Yes these machines are different than american made machines but i feel the technology is better. The machines are user friendly and easy to work on. Of course if you have never seen or worked on one it will seem complicated but its not. Jofemar_USA has a great team working and they train operators and even your own technicians if they wanted to. Free of charge, just a trip to Florida (Miami) and two days and you will be an expert on these machines. (all the training and Tech Support is free).

As far as parts, MIAMI stocks every single part and there really is no down time due to a parts issue....

As far as techs go, every operator that i know has a trained technician. Its kinda mandatory when you purchase from Jofemar, that someone if not yourself g in your county gets trained.

jofemar has been around for over 40 years and they are the best manufactures in their side of the world. Its been taking the USA market sometime to realize that they have great equipment. They have been in the USA for 11 Years now.

P.S. they have a great coffee machine..

Could you clarify, do you work for the distributor or for one of the operators?

I am a independant subcontracted technician for operators, and even Jofemar-USA direct at times. I have really come to favor their machines and don't work on any other machines anymore. They have a big market here in Miami and i mainly work for their larger operators who own 30+ machines. Their food solutions is getting big, and many locations are upgrading from the carosel shopper to their vision menu model. I also have a few customers that are from the H.U.M.A.N group.

For the records

-I do not sell machines

-I do not promote or get paid to promote any brands

I do however:

- own one Jofemar coffee machine but I have it in my house on free vend. Beats the coffe maker, wife and guest love it.

- Know the sales guys but mingle more with the tech support guys.

- work on the older crane machines

- electronic repair technician including various payment system.

I hope to bring some of my technical knowledge to the table in this forum.

Cheers

The biggest problem with Jofemar is that they are different. I've dealt with them since they wherein CT. I sold quite a few of there Iceplus machines. They are built like tanks. But no one understood them and there was to much resistance to change for it to be a successful line. I like them and find them interesting. But they are not your average machine that you seein the US.

Hi Bill,

Lol yea they started in CT back in 2000 I believe.. Yes the famous ICEPlUS .. Sure right it's a Sherman tank ... Built tough.. Tricky to understand but once u got it it's simple. I believe those and the multi-plus was the only machines they were bringing in back in those days. Their line up has changed dramatically and although still built tough, now they have glass front vision machines, they also have a great coffee line up that I simply love. Next time I'm at Jofemar I'll let them know I met someone from the CT days.. Nice hearing from you.

Let me tell you about my night mare with Jofemar Ice plus. I bought 3 and put them in 3 high schools. I had access to 3000 hungry teenagers and I had dreams of buying a new 4 wheel drive truck and a new bass boat. The dream became a disaster. I went thru 6 refrigeration  units   in 2 years cannot remember was chains or belts would keep breaking I try  to forget bad things that happen to me and the ice plus would take forever to vend. It was not uncommon to have lines of hungry kids 30 deep I would open the machine and sell ice-cream  that way The refrigeration would just stop freezing for no reason The janitors would leave a mop and bucket beside the machines at all times. The machines were new and I paid a lot of money for them. I bought  them A and  M equipment the owner had sold a lot them to venders to put them it schools and he was living the night mare also. I was booted out after 2 years . I still have flash backs every  time I walk by the ice cream cooler at the grocery store.
