Boylst42 Posted July 15, 2017 Share Posted July 15, 2017 Hey guys, new to vending jus bought a Dixie narco 501e and working on getting it set up. It worked fine when I bought it and just set it up in a location and now as soon as you insert the proper amount of money motor number 4 starts turning. Without any buttons being pushed it sends that auger. I believe it's a short but can't figure out what is causing it. cvending Posted July 15, 2017 Share Posted July 15, 2017 It sounds like the selection switch is stuck or bad. When you press the service button, is there a error message on the display? If switch is stuck it would say "PB-4". Does your machine have switches or a membrane for selections? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AngryChris Posted July 16, 2017 Share Posted July 16, 2017 Or SS-4 or something like that. Regardless of seeing an error, replacing the switch is the simplest solution. It's a pretty cheap part and relatively easy to change out. You just need to get the right selection switch. If it's a 501e with an SIID board, it should be a common selection switch.
