Billnuts
Hi, all Thought i would share my refurb project 1999 Sega-Stern South Park Pinball I picked this up for $1800.00 used with Dba Its in Fair condition For being on a route Shows signs of abuse and normal route wear and tear. Made a shopping list of parts to get and replace damaged parts New led lighting kit. replaces all normal bulbs with 114 high power led's 5 new sliverjet premium pinballs damaged or knicked pinballs scratch the surface and should be replaced 4 new leg levelers with sliders so they dont scratch floors New Coil plastic sleeves and plastic arms, replace any worn coils 1 3inch kyle figure (missing) Six piece Cliffy Protector sets... metal inserts to prevent wear and damage to holes, switches... south park has alot of wear spots that could have been prevented if these were installed first Side Flipper button clear plastic wear protectors and the most important part... battery relocator kit or make your own kit most pinballs have 3 AA batteries behind the scorecard or backglass if the batteries are forgotten or ignored they corrode and eat the motherboard and destroy the pinball game. so we relocate the battery pack to a side wall so its not directly on the motherboard windex.... paper towel and mill wax and novus #3 and novus #2 I have to remove everything off the playfield clean and then fill worn spots with filler and clearcoat till back to normal 5 coats of wax clean all parts and re-assemble wish me luck its about a 2 day job (have to wait for clearcoats to dry)

rdendy
Yeah this looks like a great pinball machine, one of my favorite past times as a kid, and as an adult I am still pretty Psyched about Southpark so great combo imo.
decaturjack
Very cool! Are you repairing this for someone or to put on location? Haven't seen a pinball machine in a while around here.

Billnuts
well its done as can be Had a bad set of optical sensors so it kept saying i had too many balls 0.o Replaced them and restested everything seems ok, looks like i have a location for all 4 pinballs at the moment at a good rate / commission so no new glass for it yet, i removed cartman and the warning sign so vandals/ idiots cant steal them
