TKK Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 On my vendo 511 on Friday I changed the opts to 2 and now it was taking two bills today I got a call that all my cokes are hot. Would that affect the compressor? What can I check? Unplug it and plug it? It has intellivend and stuff would it throw an error if the compressor is bad I'm going in a couple minutes if u can please tell me what to check Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dogcow Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 remove the plug from the compressoor and plug it into an extension cord, see if the compressor comes on if it does replace the thermostat, those go bad a lot for no explicable reason and its like a $5 part if the compresor doesnt come on the easiest thing is get a new cooling deck but they can be expensive or u can send it out for repair but it can take a few days. unless u are vaery handy and understand hvac i wouldnt suggest messing with it beyond that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
