Hi,

I keep seeing adds for used 1-800 around. It seems like an interesting concept- a compact triple. I have some questions, though.

Are they still being manufactured?

Who are (were) they made by?

What was the cost for a new 1-800?

Are they any good?

Once again, thanks so much for TVF!

I dont think the exact thing is sitll made, but a similar thing is the LYPC triple pod

A new 1800's cost is going to be overpriced, because it was a bizop, with "support"

they are pretty decent

No, they are not still being manufactured. LYPC sells a machine that is nearly identical and a lot of the parts interchange, though.

Not sure who they were made by.

No idea what they cost when were new.

Yes, they are good machines. Once you figure out their unique little quirks, they are great machines.

I have a couple dozen 1800 machines and they are reliable and durable. I'd replace most of them with a rack in a heartbeat if I could, but in places where you can't have a rack they are great machines.
