chris in bc
How do you remove the white residue that sticks to the inside of a pop machine-every time I used to get a Coke/Pepsi machine from the robbers ( ooops I mean bottlers) there would be this white soapy reidue all over the place-it is lke a film of un rinsed soap? AZVendor
It's not soap as much as it's simply corrosion and oxidation of the bare galvanized metal. They power wash their machines with hot water and the result is the white residue. You can try cleaning with a wet rag to remove the layer of oxidation, but it doesn't hurt anything. If you also have the residue on painted surfaces, then it may be leftover soap. Again wiping with a wet rag will remove it.
donut
After cleaning, you can always hit the interior with a bit of spray paint if you want, although not necessary. Just be sure to watch the overspray to the electronics and motors...
