vendamania
As far as I know there are certain beverage machines that can handle the cold weather. What model numbers are deemed outside machines?
Walta
If you read the tag on the machine it will say “UL listed suitable for outdoor use” Most soda machine will be labeled for outdoor use. Very few other machines are made in a way that would allow them to pass the UL tests for outdoor use. Passing this test would require expensive changes. Operating a machine outdoors that is not UL listed for outdoor use is very dangerous as you may kill someone, also any insurance policy would now be void. AZVendor
All DN stack models, Royal stack models and all Vendo models are rated for outdoor use. There may be one or two odd balls that aren't, but as Walt said, check the serial number plate to be sure. Do realize though that if your area gets deep freezes you may have a product freezing issue. In cold weather the compressor may not run much, if at all, but the evaporator runs all the time and provides some heat to keep the cans from freezing in cold weather, but sometimes the fan isn't enough to prevent frozen product. In that case you need machines with heaters built in to them. You can get heaters for some late model machines if that would be a problem for you.
