Lonchiviris
Hi, We're about to buy a "Royal Vision Vendor RVV 500" refurbished. Anyone out there can give us any feedback, we heard that the slots have to be program based on the drink size. Thank you,
AZVendor
Welcome to the forum! You might want to get the serial number off the machine before purchasing it and call Royal tech support to see if any updates were needed for it. I wouldn't take anyone else's word for it unless you are very trusting of them. There were several issues with the earlier RVV500s that were corrected with updated parts, etc. You don't want to buy a machine that needs a bunch of things done to it to make it reliable. Anyone out there can give us any feedback, we heard that the slots have to be program based on the drink size. Thank you, I own a RV500-40 machine and I've never had to program anything other than the price per selection - the machine requires no special shims and should vend anything that will fit. Take care that extra tall products don't rub against the shelf above them - other than that you should be good to go.
chris in bc
The 2005-2009 models of the RV500 are REALLY, REALLY bad! Buy a Dixie Narco Bev Max 4, enjoy a headache free machine. Plus a Bev 4 will vend 24oz bottles on the top shelf...money maker!
