dredman
The clear plastic portion of the bean hoppers in the Saeco SG 200 (as with many other bean hoppers I'm guessing) gets abraised and stained from the coffee beans. Has anyone come across a good cleaning product/process for getting these looking new? Most products I've tried aren't really doing the job. AZVendor
Soaked in hot soapy water and scrubbed with a stiff brush followed by a good hot rinse should take the oil off, but if it's abraded as much as you say you probably need to find a new hopper. craigrob
Dredman, we had really good results from Tub O' Towels cleaning wipes. Removes oily residue quickly and also does a really nice job on the outside of the machine. Check the ingredients though, you might want to rinse the hopper with soapy water before using.
