RikaKazak
So I've had a Cotton Candy machine at a movie theater for almost 2 years, and just this week put in a key master (brand new one). The movie theater owner was so impressed by the quality of my machines, that he said he's officially kicking out the other vendor, and letting me put in whatever I want (he trusts my judgement and I told him I'd only put in nice looking high quality machines). Right now there's 5 machines. My cotton candy, my key master, the other vendors buck hunter, sit down racing game, and 1942 (stand up airplane shooting arcade game). I get to put whatever I want in those 3 machine's locations. So I could put 3 different machines, 1 big machine, basically whatever I want. I don't know the dimensions, but the area is big enough that 3 standard sized key master would fit, with not much room left over. (and the front door to the place is huge, so almost any vending machine I've ever seen would fit through them, they're like 8' tall) What would you guys put in? I'd like to keep the budget under $15,000 if at all possible. But if I have to go over some I could. I am willing to pay a slight premium for newerish (even though 95% of my machines are used when I buy them) just because this is a very good location and appearance really mattered to him. I'm still very new to vending, and only have a little experience. (I currently own key masters, cotton candy, bulk candy, coin op washer and dryers, spiral gumballs, single head gumballs, and toy racks) But I really like vending and have no problem investing time/energy/effort into learning new machines/styles. I was thinking about a stacker and maybe a claw machine. But I don't know if they're worth it, or what. I'm hoping some of the people with more experience could share their opinions. The only condition he put on me, is it can not be food related. My cotton candy machine is allowed to stay. But nothing else can compete/be even remotely close to food based because his business is based on concessions. And the area is pretty religious, so no arcade games like Area 51 or anything like those. Even the prizes in the machines have to be "family friendly" things. So what would you guys put in? I'm open to any and all suggestions because I'm a complete idiot who needs all the help he can get lol
RikaKazak
My wife and I were talking/brainstorming. What do you guys think about a Chicken (or other variant) machine going there? In the summer the movie theater does a lot of children movies (it's a $3 discount theater) so maybe that would do well?
Nick505
40" crane, multicade from Ronnie, and either a sit down driving or big buck hunter. That would cover it well.
gumball guy
Redemption Games......Stacker, 40" plush crane, 31" gravel crane and a big rack should be pretty successful and usually will give you a better return than video games these days. The other vendor has three video games that obviously are not doing well. If they were the owner wouldn't be kicking him out. I sure wouldn't put in the same type of games that the last vendor had in there especially if you want to impress the theater owner.

psk007
I have a few movie theaters and my plush cranes always do the best. Keep it all to redemption type machines and you will do fine.

They seem to have the perfect customer base for vending.
psk007
I do some generic with some licesned plush. I mix in some knobby balls and hats. I also will rubber band some prizes to bigger animals like mp3's, etc...
