kai1836
which provides a better return on your money factoring in time, cost of equipment, etc.......bulk candy in triple/double head machines, or racks? Also how many of you have begun putting devices like ezcount on your route?
Beer980
I don't have any racks yet but I will say that they probably do better then triples in the end. You must get them for a real good price and get them in a good location though. Triples are easier to locate then a 5 way I think. If you have a good untapped area for racks then you should be ok. My area seems to be saturated with racks so I work on triples right now.
Quarter Master
Kai1836, I believe the old saying is "more you have, more you get".Of course location has alot to do with it.I'd say if your ready for the jump, then go for it.Of course you may be getting into more product inventory, hense more expense. betty
I have some racks with 4 machines on them. 2 on top and a pull out shelf at the bottom and it holds 2 machines . You have to be sure the location really needs a rack b/c you can really have lots of waste with stall goods .
antoniocinisi
imo racks are for toys.a triple from 1800 will hold plenty of candy for most locations.
Faith Vending
I think racks with toys are the more profitable and less labor intensive in the long run. Finding the right location is very important.
AmuseStar Vending Co
What is in your comfort zone is what is best for you. Roger Folz jumped right in with racks. Look at him today. Its your will, and determination. Kyle
West Coast Vend LLC
Jim, How are you doing with the toy rack setup (1800 machines) in the mall? Gary
nepavend
As long as you get a good to great price per head on used equipment, anything has the potential to bring a great ROI, but racks because of number of heads and ability to vend more 50c vends will probably bring the most volume. Of course you must stick to the basics too: Have good/great locations to put your good/great deals on equipment and service regularly and the rest will take care of itself. Faith Vending
Gary: I still have the two you helped me with; one in a pizza joint; one in lobby of supermarket. They both are doing good but looking for better results soon. I will do more as I find right locations. How about you? Rockin and Rollin? West Coast Vend LLC
Johnny. They look like my racks in DQ. My avatar picture. Jim used a couple of 1800's and bolted them on a step rack. Gary
