Has anyone ever thought of placing a gumball machine at a marijuana dispensary? Haha I only thought of this because of all the late night talk show monologue jokes with marijuana users getting "the munchies". There's also that story of the girl scout who sold out her cookies after setting up in front of a dispensary. It could be a good idea with dispensaries popping up everywhere. I wonder how fast it would take to sell out a head with Skittles or m&m's. The only thing is if the marijuana dispensaries are actually set up with the county legally. I wouldn't want to place a machine and come back in a month to see the whole place vanished. Just a thought.

I'd think it'd be one of those "who's in charge" sort of things- who actually has the authority to approve the placement of a machine may be a struggle in and of itself, similar to a hospital. However, I can see a place like that being good for candy- pretty much anyplace with a "waiting room" is sure to pull in enough to warrant keeping it.

 

I guess I would say do not consider slamming anything there- both from an ethical standpoint, and that as a county fixture you're more likely to get in trouble.

I recently went into our local store for exactly this purpose only to find a Location owned 8 compartment U-turn machine already on location. I asked the person working the counter how the machine does. His Reply, "We can't fill that thing fast enough" ... I figured, lol

Finally, a location warranting the crazy capacity of a U-Turn Terminator! All it took were sweeping reforms to national drug laws to make it possible too. Maybe U-Turn had been thinking ahead after all.

I'm in Colorado and have 10 dispensaries, half do well and the other half are at least worth keeping. It is a volatile industry so the shops change owners a lot and are not renewed on leases both of which lead to location loss. I will continue to seek them out however as the potential is worth some hassle. The shops that are doing as well if not better are the "vapor" shops. I will pursue those more aggressively than dispensaries.

I love my U-Turns (mainly because they're mine LOL). In two short weeks, I've gotten my time changing out a coin mechanism down to about 52 seconds! LOLOL

I saw an article a few months ago where some entrepreneurial Girl Scout sold cookies outside of a dispensary.  It said she sold over 1300 boxes in less than a week!
