laip51 Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 I am in need of substitute bill acceptors for Vendo 721s. The DBV-301 12V has failed in two machines. For the first time on the forum, I cannot find a post I placed a couple of days ago. Maybe I committed a transgression somehow? Are posts deleted by the moderator or simply lost? AngryChris Posted August 15, 2015 Share Posted August 15, 2015 I'm unfamiliar with that model bill acceptor and baffled that it is 12v. Is it MDB? Your vendo 721 should be all MDB. As long as there isn't something weird like a 12v harness (which I doubt), then any MDB validator will work. Just make sure the new bill acceptor has the MDB harness built in or you'll have to purchase it separately. Also make sure that your machine uses MDB because the 12v thing throws me off.
