vegas vendor Posted September 17, 2015 Share Posted September 17, 2015 Hey guys, new member here. I've got a rowe 5900 that is not consistently recognizing bills. It will take the bill every time but only credits about 80% of the time. Had similar problem with this machine last yr., and a tech. found me a used control board which fixed the problem until just recently. Could it be the control board again or??? The problem is probably with it needing to be rebuilt or replaced if it's still a CBA or UBA validator. I can send a replacement to you if needed. You can email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom. Just got it used off ebay, Supposed to have been tested and work ok but you know how that goes. Do you rebuild bill validators and coin mechs.? I"ve got a pile of them here that need fixed. Walta Posted September 18, 2015 Share Posted September 18, 2015 Before you send the BA off for repair. 1 Remove the stacker box. 2 Lift the chrome bar at the bottom and remove the lower track. 3 Remove any foreign objects. 4 Clean both the upper and lower lenes.
