ranamae
Has anyone figured out what the sales cycle is at Sam's? Generally stores rotate through their stock on a schedule to determine what goes on sale. (Though obviously when I product is not selling they'll mark it down to dump it too.) Or do they even mark down candy at all? It would be nice to keep costs as low as possibly on gumballs, Peanut M&Ms, Skittles, and Mike & Ikes. PerformaVending
The only time I see the candy stuff go on sale is when it's being discontinued, but I have horrible luck at Sams, so maybe I just always miss the sales if there are any. sweetstop
the only things ive seen at sams on sale is skittles from time to time, $1 off per bag never seen mm's except for holiday ones. BJ's does $2 off mm's once or twice a year, I stock up then but can only afford about a months inventory when they do

ranamae
Thanks everyone. i cap star burst, jolly ranchers and a few other individually wrapped candies. target and cvs is normally where i go if sams doesn't carry something i'm looking for. target has a rewards card and an app called cartwheel. So is it pretty much a rule to never put a wrapped candy in a machine out of a capsule? They get stuck? I haven't tried yet.
PerformaVending
Thanks everyone. So is it pretty much a rule to never put a wrapped candy in a machine out of a capsule? They get stuck? I haven't tried yet. There have been attempts to sell wrapped candy out of bulk machines, but they've all been near if not complete failures. Jolly Ranchers also have a bad habit of melting after a relatively short span of time regardless of temperature. I had a whole bowl melt last winter, and it never got hot enough to melt them that way.

Are the regular gumballs only by special order? Thanks!
