Crimson Tide
How long are your service cylcle's? My spreadsheet tells me how much, per day, each location makes, on average. The numbers that I put in my report are based on 30 days of operation. My actual service cycles vary considerably depending on the location. I service the two diners about every 6 weeks. The others, more like 2 months.

I keep track of the dad I installed, when I serviced it, months in service, total sales, sales for year, last pull, expected monthly sales, expected yearly sales, address, equipment, product, commission paid, and which way the location is trending. I use to figure it out by the day but it's easier to figure out by months.

I use to figure it out by the day but it's easier to figure out by months. I capture all of the data points that you mention. I have a column for gross revenue and one for net revenue. I guess I don't do trending exactly, but I have created a color coded bar chart that shows "at a glance" how the different locations are doing. BaneTrain
Location Vending 1. Junkyard- pmm, skittles, gumballs. $28.00/month 2. Hair Salon 1- pmm, skittles, gumballs $17.75/month 3. Hair Salon 2-gumballs. 14.75/2 months 4. Sm. Grocery Store- gumballs, bb 16.31/month 5. Restaurant 1- gumballs, bouncy balls 47.30/2 months 6. Liquidation Store- 5-way rack 65.00/month 7. Restaurant 2 - gumballs 9.50/6 weeks 8. Resale store- gumballs 30.25/month 9. Antique Store- gumballs .51/month 10. Car dealership- gumballs, no data I find the most interesting post are the ones where they show how much they made. Anyone else care to do so? At the moment I have enough machines in my garage to double my route. I have a couple racks I'm waiting to place as soon as the stores open. I need to change out a couple product selections to get my sales where I want them. I also am going to try to stuff some more machines in a couple of my locations where I can. It's been slow progress for me but I enjoy the challenge of building a route. I've pulled 2 locations, lost one. I've learned alot. Pull the antique store. Unless it's directly beside your house, you're spending more in gas than you are making. Ask to see what an employee ('s) might like otherwise cya later. jerrybrooksvendall
Pull Hair Salon number 2 or change the candy. That's horrible with all those selections.Yeah have to put some p m&ms Experience is priceless! The hair salons might do better with a product change to what you have at the junk yard. I used to check all of my new locations in 2 weeks also. Not a bad idea. Doubles and singles do make it better though. Your on the right track. Smaller Factory Break Room - gumballs/no data I don't always put my earnings on here but I like to sometimes to keep track of my progress. It seems like it's slow but steady. My sales dropped significantly at several of my locations. The junkyard did 3/4 less than the month before! Yikes! 5-way rack I had out did half of what was expected but they moved it to another location. At restaurant 1 and the small grocery store sales fell off by a good bit! I'm not sure of the reason why? Maybe because of the intense heat down here or kids returning to school? I went for awhile not being able to locate any machines but this past week I was able to get 3 new locations and possibly a forth.
Determined
So I've been in business for a whole year now! Wow! Since my last post I have more than doubled my route! I now have 29 locations! A charity has helped getting locations greatly! I've been working very hard on building my route the last two months and have a very clear direction for my business. From now on I will be posting my numbers in the revenue section. Thanks to all that have given me advice!
