moondog Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 Even though there's a Grizzly Bear on our state flag, the last one shot in California was killed about a hundred years ago fifteen miles north of here in a place called Little Bear Creek - still a spooky place, I hiked through there about ten years ago and the reeds were head high, perfect for an ambush. We have a bunch of Black Bears but they're not much problem as long as you don't piss them off.
